F9 Support for CYMA Customers

Please note: If you have purchased F9 for use with another accounting system or do not have an active AMF, CYMA cannot assist further than the resources found below.

F9 Licensing

F9 users with 5.5 or greater can use their Entitlement ID to login to a license management portal called FlexNet. Within this portal you can review available seats and remove seats for use on another machine.

Common Issues

Where can I download F9?: If you have purchased a license or want to evaluate F9, please access the F9 download here. You will need to note if your copy of Excel is compatible (Office 2016 or greater) and also note if your Excel is 32 or 64 bit. You can determine the version of Excel in File / Account / About Excel.

F9 does not appear in the ribbon: Please check to make sure your version of Excel is compatible. F9 is supported in Office 2016 and greater. If your Excel is compatible, in Excel access Trusted Publishers (File / Options / Trust Center / Trusted Publishers). If Infor is not in the list of Trusted Publishers, please follow this tutorial or contact CYMA at 800-292-2962.

F9 gives a 3012 error: F9 needs to be configured to point to the main CYMA directory at the server or host machine. In the F9 Reporter tab, look for Setup. If you have not already licensed the software it may prompt you to do so here. Look at the path in System and make modifications - you will know you are successful if the company dropdown shows a list of your companies.

When I attempt to license F9 it claims there are no available licenses: Please use the FlexNet login to review your current license situation. Click on List Entitlements and review Available Quantity; if the available is zero then you will need to remove the Entitlement ID from a computer. Go to Devices in the menu to the left and review the Name associated with your F9 Entitlement ID. To remove a license and free up an additional installation, click on the Name you would like to remove, choose Action / Remove Licenses. Input 1 in the Qty to remove box and Save to remove the license.

My F9 keeps resetting to the trial mode: F9 licensing is tied to a specific user and machine. If you have a load balancing server, you will require a Concurrent license to use F9 in the environment. Contact CYMA at 800-292-2962 to request a quote.
