Employee Self-Service - Company Info Not Appearing on Check Reprint / W-2 Reprint

Important Note: This patch has been incorporated into the Employee Self-Service installation files. It is only necessary to install the patch if you are noticing this issue on your current Version 23 Employee Self-Service implementation.

 

In Version 23 Employee Self-Service (ESS), the Company Information section on Check History downloads is not displaying, year 2020 is displaying for all years, and some information like EIN is not appearing on W-2 formats. CYMA has a correction based on your version of ESS (database dependent*):

If you are using the Zen 15 Version of ESS    -  Download V23 ESS Update - ZEN Version.exe

If you are using the PSQL Version of ESS    -   Download V23 ESS Update - PSQL Version.exe

  1. Stop the Application Pool or Application Pools that may be in use
  2. Launch the downloaded exe file - It will extract a folder called BIN to the default Employee Self-Service directory (C:\inetpub\wwwroot\CymaEmployeePortal\) but your exact path or paths.
  3. When prompted, overwrite the files in each ESS folder
  4. Restart the Application Pool or Application Pools

Additionally if your security policy will not allow you to download and install the files above simply extract the 'bin' folder in the following zip files to the root of the CymaEmployeePortal directory:

If you are using the PSQL Version of ESS    -   Download V23 ESS Update - PSQL Version.ZIP

 

* If you are unsure which version of Employee Self-Service you are using, please check either the Application Pool in IIS or the installed version in Programs and Features
